The 2010 Annual Conference was held in the Isle of Skye Hotel, Perth on Friday 16th April at 14.15.
The business of the meeting was chaired by Andrew Skirving
22 Delegates with voting rights attended plus guests.
Peter Woods chaired the main business to adopt the new constitution and this was achieved with some slight alterations. A new Executice Committee comprising of six members was elected.
A Dinner in the Hotel was followed by a social evening 
The President, Alex Lynch gave a short address at the Conference.




Meetings.

The next Executive Committee meeting in 2010 will be held on the 25th August in the Edinburgh Beechwood Club at 11.15.


National Events 2010

The Super Club will be hosted by the London Midland Association in the Rugby Club on Saturday 11th September.

Teams consist of six persons, a lady dart player, gent dart player, lady pool player, gent pool player, a domino and cribbage player of either sex.

Regional Events 2010

The Indoor bowls competition at Glasgow Indoor Bowling Club on Sunday 18th April 2010 and played in a round robin format was won by the Glasgow Central Club who ewere undefeated in all their games.
West Edinburgh were runners-up. 

The Donald Matheson Quaich was played over two rounds at Bishopbriggs Golf Club on Thursday 3rd June in
scorching sunshine. 20 Players took part, the winner with a nett score of 144 was Colin McInnes. Colin shot a 68 in his second round to make him a worthy winner. 

The Fresh Water Angling Competition was held at the Millhall Reservoir,near Polmont on Thursday 10th June 2010. 26 Anglers took part on a breezy but sunny day. Unfortunately the fish were hard to find. 2 anglers caught 4 fish, and the heaviest catch of 8lbs 2ozs was by David Thomson, Grngemouth. 
Alex Wilkie, Dumbarton was second with 8lbs, and the heaviest fish, 3lbs 4ozs was caught by Graham Rooney from West Edinburgh.

The Ladies and Gents Bowls Triples was held at the Grangemouth
Club on Friday 18th June commencing at 10.30

8 Gents teams and 4 ladies teams participated. The gents was played in 2 sections and the winners of each section played
a final. Fort William met West Edinburgh and came second.Winners, West Edinburgh. The ladies played a round robin and again Perth were successful.

The Bowls Fours competitions
for ladies and gents was held at the Perth Club  on Friday 16th July.
Considering the green had been flooded the day before, we were very fortunate on the day.
It resulted in a clean sweep for the Fort William Club winning both ladies and gents.


 Angling, Boats will be held on on Thursday 26th August at Girvan.

High Handicap Golf at Dunblane, Thursday 2nd September. Tee-off from 10.30


Darts finals at the Perth Club on Friday 24th September.


Domino Finals atthe Ayr Club on Friday 15th October.
 

The Pool Competition  in the Perth Club on Friday 12th November.


The Snooker Finals will be played at the Glasgow Central Social Club on Friday 26th November at 11.00
